Cherries have a healthy side too. Cherries are not only one of the healthiest fruits, but one of the healthiest foods in general. One cup, or approximately 21 cherries, contains less than 100 calories and 15% of your daily needs for vitamin C. The anti-inflammatory effect of cherries can also help keep your body healthy.

To say that walnuts are a nutritious food is a huge understatement. Walnuts provide healthy fats, minerals, fiber and vitamins, and that’s just the beginning. They also contain iron, calcium, zinc, selenium, vitamin E and some B vitamins.Walnuts have a delicious taste and crunchy texture, so they are used in cookies, cakes, granola, cereals, energy bars, and the ever – popular walnut banana bread. Also used for baking are ground walnuts and flour. Walnut oil is a rich emollient and its anti – aging properties are well – known. The nuts were always regarded as ‘ brain food, ‘ perhaps because the walnut’s surface structure has a crinkly appearance like that of the brain. Because of this, they were regarded as a symbol of intelligence, leading to the belief that they are actually increasing one’s intellect.
