BOOZY PEPPERMINT MOCHA COFFEE

Caffè mocha is based on espresso and hot milk, but with added chocolate flavouring and sweetener, typically in the form of cocoa powder and sugar, like a caffè latte. Instead of using chocolate syrup, many varieties may contain dark chocolate or milk chocolate. Caffè mocha can also be called hot chocolate with (e.g., a shot of) espresso in its most basic formulation.

Caffè mochas, like cappuccino, typically contain the distinctive milk froth on top, although they are sometimes served with whipped cream instead, as is common with hot chocolate. They are usually topped with either cinnamon or cocoa powder dusting, and for flavor and decoration, marshmallows can also be added to the top.White caffè mocha is a variant made of white chocolate instead of milk or dark.

There are also drink variants mixing the two syrups ; several names refer to this mixture, including black and white mocha, marble mocha, tan mocha, tuxedo mocha, and zebra.

Another variant is a mochaccino with either a combination of steamed milk and cocoa powder or chocolate milk, which is an espresso shot (double). Chocolate syrup, whipped cream and toppings such as cinnamon, nutmeg or chocolate sprinkles can be added to both mochaccinos and caffè mocha.

Using a coffee base instead of espresso is a third variant on the caffè mocha. Coffee, steamed milk, and added chocolate would then be the combination. This is the same as a cup of hot chocolate mixed coffee. This variation’s caffeine content would then be equivalent to the coffee selection included.

How about a peppermint mocha coffee? Only this version is not only sweet, it’s boozy too. And guess what, it totally works!

Lately i’ve been really getting into creating different types of fun drinks and this Boozy Peppermint Mocha Coffee is definitely one of my favorites so far.

This boozy delight is the ideal drink for adults looking to warm up on a freezing cold day in winter. The flavors blend deliciously.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 cups brewed coffee
  • 2 ounces creme de menthe
  • 2 ounces chocolate liquor
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1 tablespoon sugar if desired
  • whipped cream
  • melted chocolate
  • crushed peppermint candies
  • sprinkles

 INSTRUCTIONS

If you apply it, dip the rims of the mugs or glasses into melted chocolate and then dip into the crushed candies.

Permit the chocolate to set before filling with coffee, approximately 5 min.

Divide the brewed coffee between four coffee cups.

Stir 1/2 ounce creme de menthe, 1/2 ounce chocolate liquor, 1 tbsp cream and 1/4 tbsp sugar into each.

Top with whipped cream and decorate with sprinkles, if desired.

How to make a homemade mocha easy and delicious, no need for an espresso machine or a hot chocolate mix.Five ingredients and a mason jar are all you need to make it. Pour all in the jar, screw on the lid and shake the shake to mix and work up some foam. Give in and enjoy a cup.

This mocha is sweet, chocolatey, and it takes hardly more time to make than adding cream and sugar to your morning coffee so it can be the thrown – together treat that gets you through a crazy busy morning or something to drink while reading in bed on Sunday morning.

Ingredients Special Equipment

  • Mason jar with lid,
  • kitchen towel.

 Homemade Mocha:

  •  1 cup of hot coffee,
  • 1/4 cup of milk of any percentage,
  • 1 tablespoon (5 g) of non – sweetened cocoa powder,
  • 1 to 2 tablespoons (12 g to 25 g) of granulated sugar to taste,
  • 1 tablespoon of heavy cream, topping cream, optional.

Instructions

Combine all ingredients in a mason jar with the exception of the optional whipped cream. Screw on the lid and wrap the towel (in the case of leakage of your jar). Give a few good shakes, until everything is well-mixed and milk is foamy. Flow into a mug and microwave for 30 seconds or until steaming. Top with whipped cream if desired. Enjoy!
