Skin warts are small lumps on the skin. Their appearance can be caused by several reasons and one of them is the human papillomavirus (HPV). In most cases, these lumps have the same color as the skin itself, but sometimes they can be lightly pigmented. Usually they appear on the beck, the belly, the ground, the armpits, and under the breasts. Warts can also grow in size as well as in number and they can bleed. Luckily, most of the time, they aren’t dangerous and are only an aesthetic problem.
Sometimes, when fibroma is diagnosed, they are removed and there are several ways to do this. In spite of the method you choose, it is advisable to avoid sweating and exercising a few days after the surgery to prevent complications. You also have to take prescribed local antibiotic and maintain good hygiene.
If you want to avoid surgery, then there is another way to get rid of fibroma and warts. It’s a homemade remedy that has been proved to be extremely effective. All you need is some apple cider vinegar.
The first step is to wash the area around the wart with mild soap and water. Then, soak the wart in water for 15 minutes, carefully rub it with a toothbrush a bit and let it dry.
Then, dip a cotton ball in apple cider vinegar and use it to apply it on the affected area. Let it act for 15 minutes and then rinse with water. You can do this 3 times a day, several days in the week.
As time passes, the wart will darken, scabs will form and the wart will fall off.
Depending on the size of the wart sometimes they leave scars. In that case, you can apply aloe Vera gel or marigold ointment. But if you do the procedure the right way and the wart isn’t too deep, then you shouldn’t worry about scars at all.
For best results, follow these tips:
- Apply the ACV precisely on the wart.
- Once a scab is formed do not apply apple cider vinegar.
- Allow the scab to flake off naturally.
