People say that the prettiest thing you can wear is a smile. However, the smile isn’t only about having shiny white teeth – the lips are included as well. Everyone wants soft, pink lips but for most of us, it seems like a distant dream. To change that all we need to do is give our lips some extra care and attention, so we keep them hydrated and soft.
Chapped and pigmented lips causes
- An unhealthy lifestyle – smoking, stress, bad diet
- Not removing your makeup at night
- Excessive intake of caffeine
- Using cheap quality products
- Using expired lip products
Step 1- Remove dark layer from the lips with a homemade lip scrub!
If you ask me, homemade scrubs are the best thing that could happen to anyone that need a change for the better. Simply take 1 tablespoon of sea salt and 1 tablespoon of coconut oil and mix them in a bowl. After that’s done, Dip a cotton bowl in the mixture and apply it on the lips. Leave it on for a minute and gently massage the lips using circular motions. Then, rinse with water and pat the lips dry. You’ll get smooth and soft lips in no time.
Step 2 -Use a homemade lip balm 3-4 times a week!
Mix 3/4 tablespoons of honey, 1 tablespoon of olive oil, and 1 tablespoon of coconut oil. After you make sure it’s mixed thoroughly, store it in a jar with a lid. You can use the lip balm whenever you want to, especially if you feel like your lips need some hydration.
Step 3- The best night lip balm
Simply take the oil from one vitamin E capsule and apply it on your lips. Let it sit overnight and you’ll notice the difference in the morning.
