What Causes Teeth to Look Yellow?

There is a multiple factors that cause our teeth to become dull and lose their bright, white sparkle.

Usually, regular cleaning and whitening remedies can be used to treat this type of discoloration. Sometimes, however, teeth look yellow as the hard enamel eroded away, revealing the dentin below. Dentin is a  naturally yellow, bony tissue below the enamel.

When your pearly whites teeth and no longer white, it becomes a cause of worry. But no need to worry – here are many natural home remedies that can restore the whiteness of your teeth for sure. Yellowing of teeth it’s a natural process and it’s not always a sign of bad oral hygiene.

Some of the reasons why teeth turn yellow, beige or brown include:

Method One: Using Baking Soda

Method A – Lemon Juice and Baking Soda.
Mix baking soda and the juice of lemon (half a lemon). Put your paste on your toothbrush and brush your teeth with it – not brush intensely!

Method B – Toothpaste, Baking Soda and Hydrogen Peroxide
Mix one tablespoon of baking soda with one tablespoon of 3% hydrogen peroxide. Put some toothpaste and mix thoroughly. Apply the paste on the teeth and let it sit for one minute before thoroughly rinsing your mouth.

Method C – Baking Soda and Coconut Oil
Mix half tablespoon of coconut oil with one tablespoon of baking soda. After brushing your teeth with this paste, rinse thoroughly.

Method D – Baking Soda and Apple Cider Vinegar
Mix apple cider vinegar and baking soda to form a paste. Apple cider vinegar is great at removing stains. Brush your teeth rinse thoroughly afterwords.

Method 2: Using Banana Peel

Easy way to restore the shine to your smile, is to rub the white portion of the banana peel over your teeth. You can do this 2-3 times a week.

Method 3: Using Orange Peel

Get a fresh orange peel and rub the white pitch over your teeth or you can also chew the orange peel. Do this twice a week.

Method 4: Using Strawberry Paste

Mash a couple of large strawberries and brush your teeth with it. You can do this only once a week.

Method 5: Using Turmeric Powder

Mix 1/2 tbsp of coconut oil, 1 tbsp of turmeric powder, and 2 drops of peppermint oil to form a paste. Brush your teeth and let it stay on for five-six minutes.

Method 5: Use vegetables and fruits
