When the pearly whites and no longer white, it often becomes a cause of worry. But worry not- there are many natural remedies that can restore the whiteness of your teeth. Besides, yellowing of teeth can be quite natural and it’s not always a sign of bad oral hygiene.
Method 1: Using Baking Soda
A. Baking Soda and Lemon Juice
Mix some baking soda and the lemon juice of half a lemon. Put the paste on your toothbrush and brush your teeth with it – don’t brush the teeth intensely!
B. Baking Soda, Hydrogen Peroxide and Toothpaste
Mix 1 tablespoon of baking soda with 1 tablespoon of 3% hydrogen peroxide.Add some toothpaste and mix thoroughly. Apply the paste on your teeth and let it sit for a minute before thoroughly rinsing your mouth.
C. Baking Soda and Coconut Oil
Mix 1/2 tablespoon of coconut oil with 1 tablespoon of baking soda. Brush your teeth with the paste and thoroughly rinse afterwards.
D.Baking Soda and Apple Cider Vinegar
Mix some apple cider vinegar and baking soda to get a paste. Apple cider vinegar is great at removing stains. Brush your teeth lightly with the paste and rinse thoroughly.
Method 2: Using Banana Peel
Rub the white portion of the banana peel over your teeth. You can do this 2-3 times a week. It will restore the shine to your smile.
Method 3: Using Orange Peel
Rub the white pith over your teeth of a fresh orange peel. You can also chew the orange peel. It’s best to do this twice a week.
Method 4: Using Strawberry Paste
Mash 2-3 large strawberries to form a paste and brush your teeth with it. Do this only once a week as overdoing it may harm your enamel.
Method 5: Using Turmeric Powder
Mix 1/2 tablespoon of coconut oil, 1 tablespoon of turmeric powder, and 1-2 drops of peppermint oil to get a paste. Brush the teeth with the paste and let it stay on for at least 5 minutes.
